Abstract

Stunting remains a major public health challenge affecting human capital and sustainable development. This study analyzed temporal trends and the spatial distribution of stunting among children under five across four hamlets in Kerumut Village, East Lombok Regency, from January to August 2025. A descriptive quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed using secondary data from the 2025 Kerumut Village Stunting Database. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, temporal trend analysis, and simple spatial analysis. The findings showed a fluctuating but declining trend, with cases decreasing from 90 in February to 46 in August, representing a 48.9% reduction. Spatially, Toron Hamlet recorded the highest proportion of cases (30.4%), followed by Benteng (26.1%), Gubuk Daya (23.9%), and Dasan Lendang (19.6%). Male children accounted for most cases (58.7%). Targeted, area-based interventions remain essential to sustain progress and accelerate stunting reduction.
