Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines
Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English and strictly follow the formatting guidelines below.
1. General Submission Requirements
  • File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  • Article Length: The length of the manuscript should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Plagiarism Threshold: All submissions will be screened using Turnitin. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be structured using the standard IMRAD model:
  • Title: Specific, concise, and informative (maximum 15 words).
  • Abstract: A single paragraph (200–250 words) structured to include: Background/Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. It must not contain citations or abbreviations.
  • Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords, separated by semicolons (;), arranged alphabetically.
  • Introduction: Contains the background of the study, an extensive literature review to show the research gap, and a clear statement of the research objective or novelty.
  • Methods: Provides sufficient detail of the research design, participants/materials, data collection instruments, and data analysis techniques to allow the work to be reproduced.
  • Results and Discussion: Results should be presented concisely using tables or figures where appropriate. The discussion must interpret the findings, compare them with previous studies, and highlight the scientific contribution.
  • Conclusion: Answers the research objective and provides short recommendations for future research. Do not use bullet points or repeat the abstract.
  • Acknowledgments (Optional): Acknowledge funding agencies, institutions, or individuals who contributed to the research.
3. Tables and Figures Guidelines
  • Tables: Must be editable text (not images). Use open tables (horizontal lines only, no vertical lines). Captions must be placed ABOVE the table.
  • Figures and Graphs: Must have high resolution (minimum 300 DPI). Captions must be placed BELOW the figure.
4. References and Citation Style
To ensure high citation standards required for SINTA 2 and DOAJ indexation, authors must adhere to the following rules:
  • Reference Manager: Authors MUST use a reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote. Manual citations are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate desk rejection.
  • Citation Style: Use your journal style (e.g., APA Style 7th Edition / IEEE Style) consistently throughout the manuscript.
  • Primary Sources: At least 80% of the references must come from primary sources (peer-reviewed journal articles).
  • Recency: At least 80% of the references must be published within the last 5 to 10 years.
  • DOI Links: Authors must include active Crossref DOI URLs (e.g., doi.org) for all references that have a DOI.
5. Submission Checklist
Before submitting, please ensure that:
  1. The manuscript has been thoroughly proofread for English grammar and syntax.
  2. All author names, affiliations, and emails have been removed from the manuscript file for the double-blind review process (Blinded Manuscript).
  3. All data entered into the OJS metadata (Title, Abstract, Keywords, and References) matches the manuscript exactly.
