Abstract

Globalization, as a worldwide phenomenon, has significantly impacted various aspects of life, including Islamic religious education. Transformation in Islamic Education is inevitable in the face of complex and challenging global currents. In this context, the sociology of da'wah serves as an analytical approach that explains social changes and relevant da'wah strategies. This study aims to examine the forms of transformation in Islamic Education and how the perspective of sociology of da'wah can address these challenges. The method used is a qualitative literature review. The results indicate that transformation occurs in curriculum, teaching methods, da'wah media, and educational orientation. The sociology of da'wah provides a theoretical foundation to understand the interaction between religious education and global social dynamics. Thus, the transformation of Islamic Education is not only an adaptation but also a da'wah strategy to preserve Islamic values in an era of change.
